Solid Foundations, we strive to provide high-quality construction and contracting services. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where refunds or cancellations are necessary. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, refunds, and adjustments to our services.
1. Project Cancellation Policy
A. Client-Initiated Cancellations
✔ Before Project Commencement: Clients may cancel their contract within 7 days of signing, with a full refund of any deposits made, minus administrative or consultation fees (if applicable).
✔ After Project Commencement: If a project has already started, cancellation will be subject to work completed, materials purchased, and labor costs incurred. The client will be billed accordingly, and any unused portion of the deposit may be refunded.
B. Company-Initiated Cancellations
✔ If we are unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, permit denials, or supply chain issues), we will provide clients with an appropriate refund based on the project’s stage.
✔ We reserve the right to cancel a project if a client fails to meet contractual obligations, such as non-payment or providing incorrect information. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
2. Refund Policy
A. Refund for Services Not Rendered
✔ If a service has been paid for but not yet started, the client is entitled to a full refund, excluding administrative fees.
✔ If partial work has been completed, a prorated refund may be issued based on the percentage of work done and materials used.
B. Non-Refundable Services
✔ Custom work, special material orders, and third-party services procured on behalf of the client are non-refundable once purchased or initiated.
✔ Permits, licenses, and professional consultations are non-refundable after application or service completion.
3. Change Order & Adjustments
✔ Clients may request modifications or changes to an ongoing project, subject to additional costs and timeline adjustments.
✔ Any major modifications that require rework may invalidate previous payments and result in revised billing.
4. Dispute Resolution
✔ If a client is dissatisfied with a service, they must notify us within 7 days of project completion for a resolution.
✔ Disputes will be handled through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, as outlined in our service agreement.
